The New York Times is traditionally soft on right-wing extremists while portraying leftist Latin American governments as authoritarian.

    Unfortunately with a mentality like that (of the NYT), all countries in the Americas are never going to go in a direction that’s best for the country or their population, since any shift in direction can be considered an “attack” on the US.
