    This is super exciting. I’m so glad some states and Canada are decriminalizing psychedelics instead of furthering the harm of the war on drugs. Hopefully it’ll mirror cannabis legalization and will be available in most states a decade from now.

    • yeah! the colorado legislation here is also exciting specifically because it (and the referendum which originally made all this possible) names more than just psilocybin for decriminalization among the psychedelics. they made it possible for ibogaine to immediately be administered, and eventually DMT and mescaline will also be covered:

      • Initially only psilocybin and psilocyn can be administered at healing centers, but regulators can later add additional psychedelics. The bill differs from the ballot measure by making it so regulators will be able to authorize the supervised use of ibogaine at the facilities at any time, rather than waiting until at least June 1, 2026, as is the case for mescaline and DMT.
