minus-square The Doctor ( @drwho@beehaw.org ) linkfedilink2•1 year agoA lot of distros default to booting with an initramfs or initrd by default, anyway. If only because you can set up an encrypted drive at installation time, so may as well have it but not need it rather than the reverse.
