  • I’m interested in Spiteful Hexmage. It looks weak at first (1 mana 1/1 on turn 1, or later on turn another one of your creatures into a 1/1), but once you take bargain into account with cards like Beseech the Mirror, the math changes quickly. It enters as a 1/1, but enables bargain while turning into a 3/2 for 1.

    I can envision the nut draw being t1 hexmage, t2 [[Tenacious Underdog]], t3 [[Graveyard Trespasser]], t4 beseech getting [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]]. By t4 you’d have two 3/2s, a 3/3 (or 4/4), and a 4/5 Sheoldred.
