An independent review has concluded NASA’s Psyche asteroid mission is back on track for a launch this October after problems delayed its launch last year.
It’s my understanding that one of the delay issues is the “standard” SSL 1300 bus that the probe is being built on. Would be great if this works, as it would show a platform typically used to build telecommunications satellites is also suitable for deep space beyond Earth orbit.

I thought it was the new flight software and testing, not the physical bus itself, that was causing delays?
