Wisconsin Republicans are proposing a bill that would do away with work permit requirements for 14- and 15-year-olds in the state.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Children ages 14 and 15 would no longer need a work permit or parental permission to get a job under a bill Republican Wisconsin lawmakers released on Friday.

    So the official GOP position is that parents should be notified if a 14 year old expresses any kind of gender non-conformity, if the 14 year old seeks medical care for birth control, but not if a small business owner or large corporation wants to exploit that child’s labor for profit.

    Completely logically consistent.
