False and misleading claims about the war in Ukraine are being widely shared.

Those tweets are outrageous. I didn’t scroll all the way through but wouldn’t be shocked if there were blood libel accusations against Ukrainian Jewish people.

There’s nothing specifically talking about Jewish people, but the post about “baby factories” is basically the same thing with different words.

BBC Verify has traced it back to pro-Kremlin channels on the Telegram messaging app.
No one predicted that paying for verification would do something like this…

I looked for those tweets and cannot find them, the community notes features have been working. All I can find is the BBC reference

BBC contacted Twitter regarding those tweets, so they were probably taken down after that. However, tweets with such blatant misinformation still keep getting posted and circulated in the hellhole.
