Lettuce eat lettuce ( @Lettuceeatlettuce@lemmy.ml ) English20•7 months agoI wish I could stop, but I can’t. The gentle warm air breezing past my nostrils, the faint sweet scent of heated silicon filling my lungs, it calms me, soothes my shattered nerves.
I need it, that sweet nectar, the caress of the fumes. It makes me feel whole, like being safe in the womb once again, a rare comfort in this cold world.

conciselyverbose ( @conciselyverbose@kbin.social ) 5•7 months agoIt’s also just a single support person responding to a single request.

erwan ( @erwan@lemmy.ml ) English4•7 months agoYes, it’s funny how they don’t want to support huffing vent fumes, but at the same time they don’t want to say that the device they sell is emitting toxic fumes.
Walking a fine line!
averyminya ( @averyminya@beehaw.org ) English5•7 months agoI don’t think it’s really recommended to directly breathe any computer vented air

Sabata11792 ( @Sabata11792@kbin.social ) 6•7 months agoYou can’t take my vent fumes away from me.
Telorand ( @Telorand@reddthat.com ) English6•7 months agoWell, I wasn’t planning on it, but now that I know it’s an option, I’ll be sure to take this up when it arrives!
Thanks for the idea, Valve!
M500 ( @M500@lemmy.ml ) English2•7 months agoI have a pretty bad dust allergy, so I avoid electronic exhaust as it’s usually high in dust. But I had to admit the warm air feels good blowing on your face when you are waiting for something to load.
