zzzzz ( @zzzzz@beehaw.org ) 13•6 months agoTo be fair, so do other four-legged mammals.
some_guy ( @some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org ) 7•6 months agoI keep telling my partner that if the kitties were big enough, they’d eat us. She never seems to believe me. Maybe this will help sell the point.
jarfil ( @jarfil@beehaw.org ) 10•6 months agoNah, if you raise them from kitties, they’ll be tamed to you. Might eat the neighbors, though.
bionicjoey ( @bionicjoey@lemmy.ca ) 7•6 months agoCats will eat you if you die in your home though. The only thing stopping them is the thought that you might fight back.
sculd ( @sculd@beehaw.org ) 8•6 months agoIf I’m dead, I honestly wouldn’t mind being eaten by my cat. Sounds better than eaten by worms and bacteria.
toxicbubble420 ( @toxicbubble420@beehaw.org ) 4•6 months agobeing decomposed naturally is overall better for the environment, you’ll be feeding multiple species
bionicjoey ( @bionicjoey@lemmy.ca ) 2•6 months agoThey will most likely start with your face since the flesh there is so soft. Whoever finds you will be in for quite a nice visual.
Pigeon ( @Lowbird@beehaw.org ) 3•6 months agoBut maybe the cat will live, so.
hydroptic ( @hydroptic@sopuli.xyz ) 2•6 months agoBut at least the kitties won’t starve
midnight ( @midnight@kbin.social ) 5•6 months agoHumans might do that too, if they are stuck without food. I don’t think that means much.
Also tamed big cats don’t attack humans they know, despite easily being able to kill them. And they aren’t even domesticated.
sheepishly ( @sheepishly@kbin.social ) 3•6 months agoThey all look so happy…
