Really glad to see this. I’m appalled at how little grad students are paid given their very large role in keeping universities afloat (teaching classes and helping with research).
The low pay is why I ultimately decided not to go for a masters degree. I knew people who had 100k in debt who were being paid 20k a year to teach college courses. Unconscionable.
