HP has sucked for decades now, because of this kind of business mindset.
For now, I only buy Brother printers.

We really need Foss software for printers, specially for mainstream machines so that majority can afford a less scamy product.
Bruh, I only use my printer/scanner to scan documents and I prefer to go to a store to print things. I get charged $0.03USD (I’m not from the US though) for every printed page, which is WAY cheaper than buying an ink cartridge from HP.
I use the Genius Scan app to scan things with my phone.
Yup, I use my local library. It’s like 15c Canadian or something like that.
Infinitely better than this ink cartridge mayhem.
I wish I could go to some libraries, in my city they’re almost all in the city’s center. Good for you, though! :D
It already is a subscription because we keep needing to buy more ink.

I’m not a big believer in competition and the free market, but can’t they do SOMETHING? Just this once?
On my heap of projects for a while but I have ADHD so, there is a distinct possibility that I’ll never start or finish it.
