I decided to go big or go home with my first ever keyboard build. 3D printed the case myself and soldered the entire thing. No I’m never looking back and will start my next split keyboard for work next.

    • I really liked the tutorials and videos BK had available for their builds. The other Dactyl variants didn’t seem to have as clear tutorials, or they had so many variant possibilities they stressed me out as a newbie thinking I’d get something wrong or mixed up. Also the trackball looked neat and I would love to get rid of the need for a separate mouse. I wanted to try an ergonomic build with a key-well shape and the only commercially available boards like that that I could find were $300+ USD. I saved a good bit of money by printing my own case and putting together the board myself.
