Showroom7561 ( @Showroom7561@lemmy.ca ) 3•5 months agoI finished it yesterday after the second try.
Basically, you win by doing what we already know needs to be done:
Everyone goes vegan. Ban cars. Expand public transportation. Curb population growth. Destroy the fossil fuel industry. Protect greenspace. Protect wildlife. Educate the world.
Easy! /s
I think curbing population growth isn’t necessary to winning. I think it just appeases the Malthusians if you want them in your coalition.
Showroom7561 ( @Showroom7561@lemmy.ca ) 2•5 months agoNot sure if it’s required for winning, but it certainty helps. Slowing down energy, fuel, and land use gives you some time to implement your plans. 😂
Sphks ( @Sphks@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) 3•5 months agoThe introduction of the game is too depressing for me. :-(
Mannivu ( @Mannivu@feddit.it ) 3•5 months agoThis is amazing! Very addictive.
Glad you liked it man! :D
Lypropos ( @Lypropos@beehaw.org ) English2•5 months agoFantastic game! Had a great time playing and will likely do a couple more playthroughs.
Went to 100% nuclear power generation, however generation of electricity and fuel production dropped to zero in the last few turns of my playthrough and I didn’t see a reason…or wait…was it that earth liberation front that bombed all my gas and nuke plants? Ha, my entire world was without power just as I finished the game!
The game has a frostpubk vibe with the feeling of desperation at the start, kind of like how some of us feel with the way the world is going.
rothaine ( @rothaine@beehaw.org ) English2•5 months agoWon, but for some reason South America was very upset with me.
