Has anyone else had trouble accessing audiobookbay through the mullvad VPN? I tried multiple different servers without success.

I’ve had trouble using any kind of VPN on ABB. It’s pretty frustrating.
I think it times out any US based request. Try Tor.
Other trackers may require a set IP for VPNs to work but mullvad doesn’t allow static IPs if I recall. The way around this (from my experience with other trackers) is to set up 2 factor auth. I haven’t used audiobookbay, but this was my solution for 3 other sites.
The issue is not with the torrents posted there. But access to the website itself. I can access well enough over Tor and download the Torrents using mullvad. But when I try to access the website using mullvad…nothing.
Yes this was my experience with some websites as well until I set up an account with two factor authentication so that I could authenticate my IP properly. Some of these web servers are set up to deny certain IP ranges that can’t be cached.
oh! okay, but I don’t think you can do 2FA with Audiobookbay, nor would I want to. 😅
Sorry my experience is almost exclusively with private trackers!
However you should check if the country of origin makes a difference for your vpn
