Is the source series complete? The problem with GoT was a combination of being bored and not having references beyond plot points so they just rushed from plot point to plot point at the end.

The book is complete as far as I know and there is only one book to the story.

It’s interesting, but I didn’t enjoy either the first or the second very much. Started the third but didn’t finish it.

My bad. Didn’t realize it was a trilogy. Although oddly enough on beehaw I only see three other comments other than yours (none of which mention it being a trilogy). I did book one and found it mid for me. Never knew the story continues and didn’t feel the need to go dig.
