RmDebArc_5 ( @RmDebArc_5@lemmy.ml ) English3•1 year agoAnbernic RG35XX for everything up to gba and my steam deck for everything else + couch co-op
Nice
dasenboy ( @dasenboy@lemmy.ml ) 2•1 year agoMy tablet for everything up to ds. Laptop for everything else.
eratic ( @eratic@slrpnk.net ) English1•1 year agoSteam deck (LCD), managed by EmuDeck.
And then my beefy PC for anything too unoptimized to run on the deck (and to do dumb shit like raytracing)
Eggyhead ( @Eggyhead@kbin.run ) 1•1 year agoI originally got a RP2+, then a 3, then the 3+ PCB upgrade, then eventually just got the OLED deck. I still adore the design, quality, and concept of the Retroid devices, but ultimately I needed something bigger and comfier in my hands, and easier on my eyes.
I heard the 3 was a wreck.
I got a retroid cos it fit m budget perfectly. If I had cash to burn I’d get a deck or something.
Retroid devices are nice but they would benefit from a non pocket line.
I’m not saying do an ayaneo and make one every other day but 2 lines, pocket and something more comparable to the deck in shape would be nice
Eggyhead ( @Eggyhead@kbin.run ) 1•1 year agoThe 3 was actually pretty decent when it came out. It was a massive upgrade from the 2+ in terms of form and features, just not in power. However, the 3+ came out just like a month or two later, and it did have a jump in both power as well as battery life. It rendered the 3 obsolete pretty much immediately.
These days I think the 4 pro looks absolutely perfect for everything I originally wanted out of a retroid device short of an OLED display. I just don’t have a need for one anymore now that I’ve got a deck.
Yea. I don’t see the pocket part tho, its a good device
HouseWolf ( @HouseWolf@lemm.ee ) English1•1 year agoMy desktop PC that can run modern AAA games more than fine but I still find myself using more to play PS2 titles.
Nice
chunkystyles ( @chunkystyles@sopuli.xyz ) English1•1 year agoIn order of most used to least these days: Anbernic RG353P, Steam Deck, PC.
Is the 353p the SNES shaped thingy?
chunkystyles ( @chunkystyles@sopuli.xyz ) English1•1 year agoYep. I love the ergonomics of it.
