Thought this was a cool part of the article:
The acoustic sensors gather uncharacteristic sounds from the environment before artificial intelligence is used to establish whether anomalies are incoming kamikaze drones or missiles.

Of course, it could be like the whole ‘Britt’s eat so many carrots they can see stuff well’ thing for WW2.

Maybe partly, but I know acoustic target detection has a real history, just like the article says.
