Annoyed_🦀 🏅 ( @Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc ) English9•2 months agoJust in case the Nazi strike again so you can identify as one. Convenient!
nxdefiant ( @nxdefiant@startrek.website ) English4•2 months agoThose people can just carve “FUCK” into their own foreheads, then everyone will know they’re fuckheads, no patches required.
RobotToaster ( @RobotToaster@mander.xyz ) English7•2 months agoThere’s a lot of fake nazi artifacts out there, people have been making it since the 50s, if not earlier. So there’s a market for “certified” authentic stuff.
That kind of makes it worse.
Glimpythegoblin ( @Glimpythegoblin@lemm.ee ) English3•2 months agoI mean, collecting only nazi stuff is weird. But I’m into history and if I had a bunch of other older military things I wouldn’t think it was weird to have an old nazi badge or something. Not to praise it or anything but it’s a real part of history.

apis ( @apis@beehaw.org ) English1•1 month agoKnew someone who collected wwii militaria, including Nazi stuff. Claimed that some tiny shoulder or lapel badges were worth close to 6 figures.
Even if they were wildly exaggerating on value, it makes that stuff an easy way to move large amounts of money undetected.
