Toronto already has some of the worst traffic in the world, and with construction season here, delays will be even more “unacceptable.” What’s the solution?

I don’t work in construction, and don’t have any special knowledge therein. My observation has been that usually construction projects spanning more than a day are only worked on during business hours, unless it’s an emergency like power outage, but the infrastructure is always unusable (e.g., outside of business hours). I wonder, at least in select cases, wouldn’t it be better to have 2 or 3 shifts, work around the clock, and complete the job sooner and minimize dead-time
Butterbee (She/Her) ( @Butterbee@beehaw.org ) English3•2 months agoThe only way to reduce traffic is to reduce the number of vehicles on the road. That is the ONLY way.
