Previously the hall effect joysticks were only available for the LCD deck

Kind of wish they’d release a kit for Xbox controllers… (or, rather, Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony would start using them stock)
I’m also curious what happened to the 7 in 1 Gulikit dock…

You can buy hall effect joysticks for those but you have to solder them yourself. Bought some and didn’t get to install them yet, but they seem promising.
Bit of extra unrelated info, so far I’ve had 4 360 controllers for 10+ years that never drifted, and two ps5 controllers less than a year old had to be repaired because they started drifting. I love the dualsense feel, but they sure used shitty joysticks.

Any you can recommend? The only one I can find seems poorly reviewed or not entirely clear if it works with the Xbox One (and not Elite) controller

I got those but I have not tried them yet. https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006125059404.html They seem rated good enough. There’s multiple models from the same item you can switch to.

Kinda wish that Valve would just make hall-effect the stock part. My left stick only lasted about a year, while the Gulikit shows no signs of stopping.

Just ordered these on Amazon - will try installing them in my OLED when they arrive this week
