“That’s why, while almost no one pays for coffee with bitcoin, many use the privacy coin monero (XMR) to buy this or that”

I paid for a lot of coffee and pizza with bitcoin, but that was back when the fees were reasonable
Oh, so did I when fees were reasonable. I used to use Gyft all the time to obtain Starbucks, groceries, etc. Now that is totally unthinkable. Bitcoin for that use case is dead.

I still use it for $500 gift cards. But if you know of a legit source for cards to Amazon that accepts xmr, let me know

Did you check coincards? Can’t check it myself right now, sorry for that, but I remember they have a lot of kinds of cards.
I haven’t used the service myself, but looking to do so. I know them by Privacy Guides’s recommendation, if that tells anything. They only recommend Monero for crypto, and Coincards for cards. I use coinsbee.com for GCs with Monero

Ah, that’s that sketch one that sends you secret keys over email
I’ve never personally had a problem with it, but yeah, that’s how they do it.
