lemmyng ( @lemmyng@lemmy.ca ) English20•8 months agoDo I read these top to bottom or clockwise?
That’s the wild thing—I’ve tried all sorts of ways and it reads like a viable meme whichever way I read it.
luciole (he/him) ( @luciole@beehaw.org ) 16•8 months agoThat’s it. Slices are consumed in any order. A sliced meme must obey this rule.
Sotuanduso ( @Sotuanduso@lemm.ee ) English14•8 months agoForgive me for not knowing the names, but I randomized a few to test.
Red: “We slice the meme. Everybody is using panels.”
Stripes: “We slice the meme.”
Red: “A sliced meme.”

Red: “Everybody is using panels.”I guess it works? Weird that it ended up with the same speaking order each time.
MajorHavoc ( @MajorHavoc@programming.dev ) 9•8 months agoThese are George and Jerry from the Sitcom “Seinfeld”, and I only mention it because if you’ve never seen it, it’s very worth a watch.
It has held up very well (although the actor who played “Kramer” is a disappointment as a human.)
Sotuanduso ( @Sotuanduso@lemm.ee ) English6•8 months agoI’ve heard it’s full of cliches ; )
MajorHavoc ( @MajorHavoc@programming.dev ) 6•8 months agoIt certainly is. A lot of the humor in Seinfeld has been lovingly copied to death. The same is true for “Get Smart”. But in both cases, I found that the original holds up surprisingly well, anyway.
Vodulas [they/them] ( @Vodulas@beehaw.org ) 4•8 months agoI disagree that it is worth a watch, but don’t let that stop ya. Just know that the like is not universal and it is fine to not like it. Or to like it if you do, didn’t mean to imply otherwise
Umbrias ( @Umbrias@beehaw.org ) 2•8 months agoUnless you cross the center in a step then the speaking order will always be the same, just phase shifted.
Rose56 ( @roserose56@lemmy.ca ) 7•8 months agoAlways clockwise.
SubArcticTundra ( @SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml ) 12•8 months agoI can imagine exactly the way they would say this
walter_wiggles ( @walter_wiggles@lemmy.nz ) 11•8 months agoI like it
GlenRambo ( @GlenRambo@jlai.lu ) 9•8 months agoActually so good.
