@kdenlive Ah yes, good ol’ Advance SubStation Alpha subtitles. Been a while since I’ve seen them around, they were really common for fansubs

.ass is still one of the most human readable subtitle (alongside with .srt).On other hand, .ttml is just a nightmare for casual fansubber.
At least, that is what happen in fansub culture in my country.@techpengu @kdenlive @kde If you want human readable, use VTT. If you use ASS, that’s usually to add pixel-perfect 3D animations.
Also, to author VTT, SRT and TTML easily you can use e.g. the free edition of Davinci Resolve.
