Colour me unsurprised.

Not only is this clearly a gaslighting campaign by oil companies, but CCS just doesn’t fucking work. The scale of storage actually needed is astronomical.

Storing it away in geological formations/boreholes isn’t going to work bc your storage is only as good as the plug and the formation holding it.

Binding it to rock via tailings or other means is appealing but doesn’t work because carbonates are pretty easily weathered and released
