Looking past Proton apps because as a Linux user I’m tired of being treated like a second-class citizen.

infomaniak is the largest swiss cloud provider, they have multiple services which are domain related (purchase and management), cloud computing and more. They have a good reputation. They also have a swiss cloud certificated meaning they are able to host data in Switzerland and manage it from Switzerland. If you trust Switzerland for privacy, I think by extension you can trust them.
Can’t receive SMS message from infomaniak, so can’t sign up! 🙁 Well, so much for that…
EDIT: How ever I try to sign up for a free email account with them, infomaniak throws up roadblocks of one kind or another, whether on mobile or desktop. According to this users are required to provide a phone number and then enter a verification code sent by SMS, which never arrives. Looked promising. Oh well, too bad.

Why can’t you? Fake number?
Real number! Maybe should have tried fake one, but I’ve given up on them at this point.

That’s odd, I have two different hosting accounts there and never had an issue with their SMS codes. Please update your post to tell others were you ended up!

Yes, I do. What info are you looking for? You didn’t even say.
I know the Mumble and SoftEther VPN projects use them for hosting their website/project hosting.

Wanted to put Proton VPN on my Steam Deck, so it’s quite frustrating that even a distribution with millions of users doesn’t have a version of the program released for it, given that the alternative methods of using it don’t allow for easy server switching.
