Perfect opportunity to do a shell swap too, since it’s more or less the same procedure.
This is why I always say to keep a screen protector on your Steam Deck, it can reduce the likelihood that the screen will be shattered in this manner. Plus if you have the standard model you gain the benefits of an anti-glare screen with an Anti-glare screen protector.
I had one, besides, I dropped it down a flight of stairs, I think it would’ve been screwed regardless lol
Ah, yeah. That’ll definitely do it. Not that much that can be done to protect it from that (maybe a case like the dbrand Killswitch would save it, not sure, not about to test it on mine).
At least it’s relatively easy to repair, and I’ve also heard valve will accept repairs as well.
