I’ve been kind of afraid to do my laundry since the last time my clothes came out of the washer dirtier than they went in and covered in some kind of gunk; I had to re-wash by hand in my tub. I want my own fucking machine again. 😩
I don’t recommend doing your laundry with a fucking machine, but you do you.

If it’s some form of shared washer, run a cup of bleach through a cleaning cycle. If it doesn’t have one, any hot cycle will do, then an extra rinse.
If you somehow don’t have bleach, use a cup of that strong cleaning vinegar stuff, or a couple tablespoons of citric acid. But please do not even think about combining bleach and acids.If you payed to use the washer, surely they must have some way for you to channel your best Karen and complain about it.
