Been 6 months since the last post here. Figured it may not be a bad idea to see where things are at. How has progress been?
jgrim ( @jgrim@discuss.online ) English21•3 months agoI’ve been dealing with some health issues and a new baby so I have been taking a break.
I’ll be engaged again after the new year.
Thanks so much for checking in!
Congratulations on the baby! And I hope your health issues have been or are being resolved ❤️
jgrim ( @jgrim@discuss.online ) English13•3 months agoThanks a lot! I’m seeing a path to recovery. I’m assuming I’ll be tip-top by January.
Chris Remington ( @remington@beehaw.org ) English11•3 months agoWishing you and yours the best this holiday season. 💕
ⓝⓞ🅞🅝🅔 ( @GlassHalfHopeful@lemmy.ca ) English8•3 months agoI’ve definitely been curious. Only recently found out that Beehaw was planning on moving to Sublinks. I stopped using my account there because the future was so uncertain and I think this is a pretty cool path forward.
TheOneCurly ( @TheOneCurly@lemm.ee ) English5•3 months agoPeeking at the gituhb, there has not been basically any activity in the last couple months. The frontend code get continual updates from a dependency bot and otherwise nothing has happened since August.
corsicanguppy ( @corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca ) English1•3 months agoHonestly I thought they were dead after they gave up on making a database, but they seem to still be a very viable shop. They just bought chef, and while it’s now under a license trapdoor it’s still a very versatile product.
I can only wish them the best. I remember driving up to Bedford and Nashua to talk with them when I was back in Jersey, and they were always a great shop, filled with eager and enthused engineer types.
jgrim ( @jgrim@discuss.online ) English9•3 months agoThis comment doesn’t make sense to me. Are you a bot? 🤓
Pete Hahnloser ( @Powderhorn@beehaw.org ) English7•3 months agoAnd people worry about LLMs taking over competent work. Thanks for your hard work, congrats on the kid, and take the time you need.
