This will either be regular terrible, or so terrible that it actually becomes sort of funny.
I really hope it’ll be the second because I’m kinda hyped for this film and I don’t even know why.
Somehow worse than I expected!
So this DIDN’T come out and flop already?
Also, anyone else remember when they used to look forward to seeing Jack Black’s name on something?
this movie has never stopped looking EXACTLY like those shitty “minecraft in real life” renders.
I don’t understand. I mean that honestly. Is it really this hard to make a movie that’s true to its video game roots? You already have a built in fan base, so you know they will help with ticket sales and word of mouth. You need it to be accessible to normies, which is fine you can dumb things down but it’s MINECRAFT, it’s not like we’re talking super dense lore here.
There’s not really anything in the game that’s worthy of a movie anyway. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever played and the fun we had on multiplayer servers hosted with my friends will stay with me forever, but it’s not exactly bursting full of lore and storylines.
Can they just stop making video game movies and have some originality for once? I thought the writer strikes were over. Why is shit still so uninspired?
Should they go back to adapting books, plays, short stories, poems, tv shows, board games, tabletop games, songs, toy lines, children’s games, other movies, or an older version of the same movie instead?
Oh boy can’t wait for off brand Jumanji
Seriously tho, there’s so much you could do with Minecraft and the settled on making a Jumanji clone

It’s from the same brain that gave us Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre. It’s weird on purpose, y’all.
And only one of these movies is good tho.
Other than the title and creatures the poster doesn’t really scream Minecraft.
People pissing their pants, and I don’t care. I won’t even bother reading the comments. I will watch it, and I may like it!

I can’t tell if this is satire.
It’s about money.
