Has anyone else experienced issues with screen tearing and garbled text? It seems to have gotten more pronounced since my most recent android updates.
Currently running stock android 14 on a Galaxy S21+ 5G.
Yep, every time I switch away and come back for the last update or so.

Sorry for the delay, updating to the beta took longer than I would have expected.
It does not appear to be happening on 218.
It moves/changes when you scroll up and down

Yeah, that’s what I’m seeing too.
I noticed a weird garbled screen yesterday on the login page only, my main lemmy instance was down for a while so I went to add my backup.
Basically I jumped to a password manager quickly and when I went to paste it into the connect login box it went wacky.
Not a huge deal but yeah couldn’t read a thing but still managed to proceed.
Edit: did it again just out of curiosity, yeah gives me a garbled login screen every time and I experimented a bit. (to me it’s not the end of the world as it really seems to only affect me on the login page I tried similar antics on other screens but never had an issue).
Edit: About a week later and I’ve noticed this now on other screens if you app switch for a second. If I moved to a browser or something now I would just see weird characters when I switch back.
