I’m looking for a silent keyboard for gaming, preferably with a UK layout.
This keyboard caught my eye but is made in China: https://varmilo.com/products/minilo75
Wondering if anyone has recommendations for companies that make keyboards?

Zarlin ( @zarlin@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) 7•25 days agoCheck out https://wooting.io/ from the Netherlands! These are really built to last.
SigmarStern ( @SigmarStern@discuss.tchncs.de ) 7•25 days agoTIL that https://steelseries.com/ is danish? If you are a Gamer, they make decent gaming keyboards.

c1a5s1c ( @_LordMcNuggets_@feddit.org ) English6•25 days agoLogitech makes great keyboards, and they’re not too in your face with all the RGB (it’s not for me, but understand the appeal for others). Switzerland based. I think their gaming accessories are called “G”.
AceStructor ( @AceStructor@feddit.org ) 3•24 days agoLogitech is European? I feel a lot better now!
MechKit ( @MechKit@beehaw.org ) English3•25 days agoI really like the non-mechanical keyboards by Perixx.
stoy ( @stoy@lemmy.zip ) 2•25 days agoI am a sucker for Ducky Channel, but have heard good things about Xtrfy.
Lucy :3 ( @30p87@feddit.org ) 2•25 days agoAs a TL;DR: Nice to see that the brands I already intuitively associate with high to very high quality (SteelSeries, Wooting, Cherry) are actually European. Seems like Chinese and American Quality is not good enough for us lmao
