Ok boomer
Jerkface (any/all) ( @jerkface@lemmy.ca ) English3•2 days agothat’s not even what that means
ShinkanTrain ( @ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml ) English16•3 days agoAt least the Beetle is a durable car that is almost synonym with repairability, and served multiple generations of working class people.
And depending on the color you can make highschoolers punch each other just by driving around.
👍Maximum Derek👍 ( @Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de ) English13•3 days agoYou played with a color distinction?
All Beetles were slugbugs in my circle.

So?
ShinkanTrain ( @ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml ) English3•3 days agoTell you what, if you find one made before 1945 I’ll help you smash it.
Didros ( @Didros@beehaw.org ) 1•3 days agoWhat?
I’ve switched to blowing kisses at others in the car when seeing a bug. The expected response is “Om” like you’re eating it. Precious bruises shouldn’t be left for chance to decide.
corsicanguppy ( @corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca ) English15•3 days agoThat VW is a 68. It’s not a fascist car any more than 1968 Germany was fascist.
Less of a bold statement than one might think. Not that denazification didn’t happen but West Germany is pretty notorious for leaving many of the Nazis in power.
Like Von Braun, they just got told to shut up about the Nazi stuff and they’ll get to keep fighting socialists and sterilizing disabled people.
ZC3rr0r ( @ZC3rr0r@lemmy.ca ) 7•3 days agoAre people just willy-nilly crashing these Cyber monstrosities or what? Knowing how few are actually on the road, the number of them involved in accidents seems way too high given average accident statistics.
Hubi ( @Hubi@feddit.org ) 19•3 days agoThis pic is very clearly AI generated.
ZC3rr0r ( @ZC3rr0r@lemmy.ca ) 2•3 days agoI know it is, but my comment still applies. I see way more images and videos of Cybertruck crashes than seems reasonable for how many there are on the road. I do wonder if they’re somehow more prone to accidents or if their drivers feel too safe and take bigger risks.
