I loved The Critic, but so many of it’s jokes and plot were very relevant to the time period of the 1990s, I don’t know how they could reboot it. That said, I hear King Of The Hill did a great job in this regard (I still haven’t watched the new ones).
So who knows, maybe they should bring The Critic back.
That said, I hear King Of The Hill did a great job in this regard (I still haven’t watched the new ones).
To the best of my knowledge this hasn’t been released but please, and I mean this with all sincerity, prove me wrong. I would love nothing more than watching one immediately.
It would be great because they’d talk about modern movies and when Sherman says they stink, it won’t even be a joke.
Also: They brought back King of the Hill? :O
The movie industry is in such a different place than when Jay Sherman last graced us with his presence I wonder how they’d go about making a The Critic Revival. But I’d give it a whirl. I loved The Critic.
Apparently The King Of The Hill Revival is still not out yet, so I spoke too soon. Lol. Here is an article on it though.
The KoTH reboot isn’t out yet. You may be thinking of Beavis and Butthead
Yeah I know the 90s were cool and all, but like can’t we do something else, I love Jon Lovitz but I’d rather see him try a new character out.
Plus critic shows don’t exist anymore, what is he gonna be starting a YouTube channel or something?
I mean he did The Critic as a flash based webtoon when Comedy Central, ABC and Fox didn’t renew it. And those were some good episodes too.
Buy my reboot! Buy my reboot! Buy–
How about a cartoon where his liar character is a politician?
Oops, that would be an animated news show…
