I just want a browser with which I can have several hundred tabs open with ad blocking and dark mode, that’s all I’m asking
LadyBird, coming to you (finished mostly) circa 2028 or 2029.
LibreWolf has got you covered for it ships with uBlockOrigin. However, to enable dark mode in LibreWolf one has to disable Resist Fingerprinting:
“Why is LibreWolf forcing light theme?
This is one of the privacy measure that come with RFP (Resist Fingerprinting). Our stance is that if you care about fingerprinting protection you should never alter RFP behavior in any way.
If you still want the dark theme for web content, check whether your favourite websites allow to set it manually.”- -

Damn, orbit is already shutting down? I mean, what do they have left?
I recall they said it would be open sourced when it left beta. I wonder if they’ll still release it once it’s defunct.
They said Pocket would be open sourced when they bought it seven years ago
Any day now…
it’s going to let you use
glorified autocorrectAI of your choice in a sidebar instead, so it’s not like it’s fully gone
Hey, remember when Mozilla made that thing that gave them their name ? Good times. Point is, Mozilla’s actual name represents it giving up on something.
Sounds good for Firefox and Mozilla. I support it.
