Real talk. My mom spent that much on her first new car; my grandparents spent 1/3 on buying land and building a house. I got heat for 110m2.
I got a new one a couple years ago. Was like $25k. That wasn’t even with all the top of the line options either.

Fun fact but professional cycling regulations have a minimum bike weight of 6.8kg (14.99 lbs) so professional riders have even lighter bikes.
They actually don’t. Most pro bikes weigh closer to 20lbs. These guys descend mountains at 90 mph, sprint at 45 mph, they are not going to risk their lives over what amounts to a few sips of water. The 14.99 number is for dentists.

I once built a 3000 € PC. Can’t think of anything more expensive. I will never invest into SLI again. It was totally useless. Made more problems than anything.
That’s really tough. I think it was my water heater. It’s a heat pump one so it’s more expensive upfront but will heat more efficiently.
