Not what I was expecting but seems like a good direction to take it
this will be Nintendos/Illuminations version of their “multiverse” I’m calling it now.
Yeah I know what Mario Galaxy was about but instead of each little planet being a different level in this movie each little planet will be a different Nintendo Property. So you’ll have one for Kirby, Metroid, StarFox, F-Zero, with a Pokemon post credit tease and Zelda tease at the end.
This will lead in to their multiverse event movie…Super Smash Bros.

I think they went in this direction for the Mario movie since it’s the 40th anniversary soon
