minus-squareozoned ( ozoned@piefed.social ) linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up45·1 year agoI’m SUPER excited, but also VERY concerned. So I’ll be cautiously optimistic. But seeing the new Naked Gun with Liam Neeson, though a completely unrelated project, I’m hopeful that today’s Hollywood might actually be able to pull this off.
minus-squareTheMadCodger ( TheMadCodger@piefed.social ) linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up23·1 year agoWait, was Naked Gun an actually good remake? I just assumed it wouldn’t be.
minus-squarekrooklochurm ( krooklochurm@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkarrow-up16·1 year agoI thought it was fantastic from beginning to end. Liam needing killed it. And it was, so, so stupid.

minus-squaretakeda ( takeda@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) linkfedilinkarrow-up13·1 year agoIt wasn’t terrible, but still not as good as the original. I don’t think anyone can replace Leslie Nielsen.
minus-squarenomy ( nomy@lemmy.zip ) linkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·1 year agoI agree with this, it was a Naked Gun movie and as a standalone product I enjoyed it quite a bit. It wasn’t Leslie Nielsen, but they do have the same initials so that’s good enough for me.
