Akschually… Lets assume the LLM interprets an event being x years ago as the moment of conclusion of the event. Which would be the 31.12.2015 which is in fact not yet 10 years ago.
I could not reproduce this on DDG, it just says “Yes, 2010 was 15 years ago from today, September 29, 2025.”
It’s pretty sophisticated but the math checks out.

I wonder if it’s getting caught up in the use of “was” assuming it’s supposed to be referencing a past time for the question, as in: was 2010 15 years ago (as of some point previous to now)
