wasn’t just a feature, it was a full blown movement that rocked Reddit, on the blockchain no less.
fucking delusional
Oh, so it was on the blockchain. TIL
In any case, it made it very easy to recognize douchebags.
My digestive tract also undergoes a “full blown movement” not long after eating too much Taco Bell
Reddit was still doing NFTs?
I didn’t even know there are avatars on Reddit lol
Dont think they show up on old, and getting rid of old will cause another exodus.
Have there been announcements to that effect?
I realized at some point that reddit does not care about old.reddit anymore, at all. Just a question of time til it breaks completely and/or they decide to finish it off.
Nothing as far as I know.
Collectible avatars, sheesh. For people who are too dumb to upload an image. If you choose nothing, it defaults to some, well, default avatar. So people can “express their individuality” with some Mr Potatohead type choices. If you pay reddit coins, you can “express your individuality” even more.
I’m not sure how current or complete my rant is, but at some point it used to be like that.
I can see how that sortof goes into NFT/Buttcoin territory.
back in mah days reddit didn’t even have no goddangit aveytar!!! shakes crane at the clouds
