Could you imagine a government with 30% of the politicians being Independent like Bernie? The corporations wouldnt know who to bribe, politicians would actually need to worry about what voters think. 100% Independent would be horrific for corporations … and exactly how the founding fathers designed the constitution.

I knew Schumer was gonna fuck it up somehow. The last few days I was finally starting to get a little hope he grew a spine and actually listened to DNC constituents only to have this blow up. We gave up effective air traffic, SNAP benefits, furloughed and laid off government workers for nothing in return after all these weeks. If his constituents don’t demand a new rep after this then what hope do we have in the Senate for the foreseeable future?
US would do well to support third party candidates while building the vanguard.
