Yeah, I’m in the process of getting Home Assistant set up so I can shitcan Alexa altogether. But my brane don’t work good and it’s all a bit confusing. And also we have a loooooot of smart plugs.

This is exactly why I looked into home automation lol.
I recently moved and my new bedroom has several light switches. I’ve placed my bed in a way that I can switch off the light with my foot while lying in bed. I love it so much.
I had a clapper. It would turn the light on if I coughed just right in my sleep. And the subsequent cursing at it didn’t turn the lights back off either.
someone needs to invent the cursor.
