Iraq and Afghanistan weren’t proxy wars either, afaik. The US is just a oppressive empire that attacks places to subjugate them, worse than Russia.
It feels less about imperial subjugation these days than just feeding the military industrial complex, which unfortunately has only gotten bigger with AI companies in the mix. Peter Thiel needs to get to a trillion in net worth SOMEHOW!
