One of those lessons learned when you are in a minority group is “no one is on your side”.
Yes, we here all know the US is a fascist hell scape.
Some of us need reminding that the PRC is, while better so far for it’s people in terms of basic needs (food, housing, health care), and the globe (due to its reach being limited to nearby territories for now, ask the Balochi, Tamils, or Burmese how the PRC has helped) than the dystopia that is the US. Work conditions there, and acceptance of sexual and ethnic minorities are, at best, no better than the US overall.
The PRC is not a magical heaven, and we must be aware of it’s problems to improve and do better.
Authies love to hate people who are different.
But hexbear told me China loves the gays, that’s why the gays on Hexbear don’t move into the country they say is better than anyone else.
