Russia's government has allocated more than 4.3 billion rubles ($55 million) to support the tourism industry in occupied Crimea and Sevastopol through one-time payments to tourism workers, Russian authorities said on July 11.

        When they arrive and depart the plane they will be welcomed to the Russian army and handed a 150 year old pistol with no ammo and told to charge the enemy. They’ll all drown of course.

    Denys Chystikov, deputy permanent representative of the Ukrainian president in Crimea, told Suspilne that a significant share of the current tourist flow consists of Russian servicemen and their family members traveling to the peninsula on state-funded vacation packages.

    I dunno how much morale-boosting the Kremlin is doing for its military if it’s shipping them to an area that’s substantially severed from a logistical standpoint and lacks fuel and electricity.
