But no, this is saying that how we socialise topics is important. And that society at large enables men to get away with such behaviour and by extent promotes it as acceptable.

I never understood why human and social interactions isn’t an obligatory course on schools all over the world. Not just how yo treat women, but how to treat anyone, doesn’t matter their gender, skin color, etc…
That would be part of learning Critical Thinking Skills, which conservatives oppose, because they feel it teaches children to resist authority, which it does.

I never thought about it that way. There’s nothing physically stopping cannibalism, so it’s horrifying to us due to almost ubiquitous social pressure.
So clearly we have the capability to make these changes and society just doesn’t see it as important. Maybe that should give me hope but honestly this just makes me more disgusted.
