MKBHD is a tech youtuber (maybe the biggest?) who normally uses a Mac, but he got a Framework 13 Pro with Ubuntu and has been using it for a few weeks now.

We all make mistakes in life because no one is perfect. The important thing is to learn from them. If you tell me that you’re perfect and have never made mistakes, I know you’re lying.

The biggest problem with a censorship proof decentralized social media platform is that the instances without moderation inevitably attract the sorts of people that get banned from everywhere else.

    • Wow, you could say he’s a capitalist bootlicker, who never actually criticizes the free products he gets from companies. Or a populist who ignores the actual important information about things he reviews and focuses on the materials and how they make him feel (like almost all reviewers).

But the “Oh no, he is able to drive and occasionally speeds like everyone else.” isn’t really a problem.

But he is an idiot, who posted it on the internet. That’s just stupid.

      • If the situation really was “speeds like everyone else,” you’re right that it wouldn’t be a problem. 5 to 10 mph over is that range, maybe 15 in the right conditions. He posted himself going 96 mph in a 35 mph school zone (155 kph and 56 kph respectively for our metric brethren), which would still be a massive problem even without the school zone part. It’s extreme enough to no longer be about one incident but the mindset persisting behind it.
