all you need is a bit of private space to stand and lay in, a measuring cable to wrap around you and that’s it.

When it comes to an accurate bra size, most calculators don’t work for a lot of trans women because of our larger ribcages. This one gave me a reasonable cup size, because no fucking way am I a D cup, but there’s other suggestions I found helpful.
ABTF takes that into account. It’s really a great tool.
It gave me the same size, and every combination of measurements I tried, and I tried a lot, gave me the same on both. Either way, a calculator is only going to be a starting point to try things on, and more places to try and start isn’t a bad thing
You could try sister sizes, some stores sell bra size extenders (though obviously it’s better to have a well-fitting bra).
if the boobs fit but the band is tight, use a ‘lower’ letter, so instead of D -> C, and go up a band size, so like 32 to 34. so instead of 32B you do 34A.
I am definitely in the A or B range, maybe a very soft C from some brands, but every calculator except the one I linked has said D cup, and there’s no sister size in my range from a D.
ooo i didn’t know about that one! that looks handy too. but one criticism i have is that it only uses foreign measurements - I’m only familiar with EU sizes.
the abrathatfits works for me, it said for me that I should look at 85B (and sure enough that works, though boobs have now grown enough that they also work with C).
pre hrt I had 75B according to aBrathatfits calculator.
Out of curiosity, how does EU sizing work? I’m assuming the number is still band size but in centimeters, so is it just band sizes go in 5’s instead of 2’s like with NA sizing?
