I was lurking on lemmy for awhile but really I didn’t think I would ever post but this community is so sweet and I wanted to be a part of it so bad !! I feel like I see a few usernames posting on here very regularly but honestly I have no idea how people make friends on here and I’m kinda shy lolll.

I used to play tf2 back when I was in college, although not to the level of my friend who played competitive 6s for some time. I was best at medic and demo, which is probably why to this day (although I stopped playing when ow2 came out) my most comfortable overwatch heroes were mercy and junkrat.
My SO and I occasionally play Stardew together, and I want to play it in an archipelago game at some point, but might try one solo first to get a feel for how the game plays randomized.

synthesizers are kinda cool and i’ve wanted to build my own for aaages but i just can’t find the time and motivation to actually go and do it >.< i 'd have to learn to solder first … i’d love to learn that, though. just worried about the toxic fumes a bit … which is largely why i haven’t done it so far.
U should consider FOSS simulator VCV rack - my lord and savior. Check out this dude omri cohen on youtube for nice tutorials (and a lovely accent)
Lemmy DMs are not quite private. Use Matrix for secure comunication, and you can use it to access the Genderverse space. FluffyChat is the client generally recommended there.

uhm idk about the genderverse but there’s actually two large matrix spaces … the normal “blahaj” one and the “into the genderverse” one. the blahaj one is pretty active, i can tell. hundreds of messages a day. i’m in there as well.
You need to apply to join (say hi in the Genderverse Applications room, then have a short one-on-one chat with a moderator, albeit it’s nighttime for the main one). Then you’ll receive an invite to the actual rooms, which are numerous and quite busy, usually several folks are online at any time of day.
Also, please add pronouns to your profile page!
adding pronouns is not a must; but if you don’t, then other people will guess and assume.

I used to play TF2 back arpund when the Pyro update came out. I played mostly pyro and medic, sometimes engineer and heavy. The bot problem became so big and so much stuff happenend in life that I kinda just stopped playing

When I was a teenager I was always a scout or a pyro but then I took several years off during college and now I’m so bad at those. I think my brain slowed down with age LOL now I’m better at like sniper and demoman. If my team is like extremely losing I’ll usually go engineer or medic.
