My, at that time identifying as cis woman, friend. She saw i was doing bad mentally at her new years part 1.5 years ago. We had a long talk after the party and we figure out that the root cause of many of my problems and things that made me feel bad was because I would get really high. Any free time I had I would pretty much always be smoking weed. She made me not smoke for a whole month and what a life changing thing she did. Every good thing that’s happened is because of her

    • yeah weed really fucks up your mental health when you do it too much. i was a daily user for like 2 or 3 years and it got to the point where it didnt even feel good anymore, at least not the way it used to. i finally stopped a month ago after i had a 50 mg edible and barely felt high but felt just the worst depressive episode ive felt in as long as i can remember. after that i didnt even want to get high anymore, so it was really easy to stop.

A guidance counsellor in my high school helped me work through some very complicated choices I had facing me. She’s why I am where I am today.

One of my best friends really helped me a lot when I was in a bad physical state. She drove me to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, and just hung out when I was going through recovery from a really bad car crash.
