Aldi usually has the freshest vegetables. I think this is because people just flock there to buy stuff and with other supermarkets it is more often that stuff lays there too long.
ive seen the opposite on most leafy produce at aldi. enough so that I buy most of my lettuce/spinach/etc at the main chains and it last much longer.
